The Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) team lead the company’s engagement with executive branch officials, legislators, regulators, and third parties in the formulation of public policy. Working closely with Google leaders, GAPP strives to identify key policy issues, listen carefully to the views and opinions of others, and address and share the company’s perspectives on those issues with external stakeholders. While we focus on the challenges affecting the Internet, our issue areas are becoming increasingly broad and encompass many areas where public policy, business, and technology intersect. In this role, you will help manage working tours of the European Union.

Responsibilities
Plan and implement strategic engagement between Google executives and government officials
Lead on creating, consolidating, editing complex written material, such as briefing docs, letters, and talking points
Develop cross-functional partnerships and relationships with teams of executives to create meaningful agendas for engagement and engage appropriate internal participants
Collaborative and externally face strategic outreach efforts, such as campaigns, field executive tours, and roadshows
Track projects and key metrics
