 Search engine Google is celebrating its 24th birthday today.

 

 

Google Birthday Surprise Spinner: On this special occasion, Google has made a wonderful Spinner. The cake shown in the Spinner has 24th written on it, along with the design of the Google Birthday Surprise candle, it has also been given beauty. Let us tell you that as an Internet search engine, Google is the largest platform in the world today.

 

In 1997, Larry Page, one of the co-founders of Google, had just arrived at Stanford University to pursue his P.H.D. in computer science.

This accidental encounter was a pleasant surprise that started it all.

From there, the two came together with a common goal: to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful, a mantra that went on to become Google’s mission statement. The two stayed in a garage—Google‘s first office—and got to work.

Billions of searches later, perhaps the most heartening event has been how Google has grown over the last 19 years. Named for the number “googol” (1 followed by one hundred zeros), Google inches closer to its name each year, currently serving over 4.5 billion users in 160 countries speaking 123 languages worldwide.
